Traveling and photography are my passions. My work is constantly evolving as I try to push my artistic expression. From remote cultures to local landscapes, my goal is to create a story in the photographs that will have an emotional response from the viewer.
When people are moved by my images and have a sense of connection, then I have done my part right. I grew up between Israel and the US and got my love of travel and adventure at a very young age. My dad was a photography hobbyist and in high school I started with his old gear and fell in love with the medium.
My degree in geography really helps me understand the world and in turn see it, and photograph it with a deeper meaning. It also led me to an internship at National Geographic which was a great learning experience. I travel every winter from January through March exploring different parts of the world, and sell my work at art shows, markets, and online the rest of the time.
